Tattoo Aftercare Instructions

Heal beautifully. Glow intentionally.

Every artist has a different healing method — this is mine.
Follow these steps to keep your tattoo clean, bright, and healing smoothly with Babe’s Balm™.

✨ Day 1: Right After Your Tattoo

1. Keep the bandage/Saniderm on

Leave your bandage or Saniderm on for the time I recommended (usually 3–24 hours depending on placement and size).

2. Avoid touching or picking

Your skin is open — treat it like a wound.

✨ First Wash (After Removing the Bandage)

1. Wash your hands

Always before touching your tattoo.

2. Gently wash the tattoo

Use CLEAN hands + a fragrance-free, dye-free soap.
No washcloths. No scrubbing.

3. Pat dry

Use a fresh paper towel. Do not rub.

4. Let the tattoo air dry for 10 minutes

This prevents moisture trapping under your balm.

✨ Using Babe’s Balm™

Apply a THIN layer

A little goes a long way.
Gently massage it in until the skin has a soft, hydrated look — not shiny or greasy.

Frequency:

2–3 times a day for the first week.
Then as needed for dryness.

Why Babe’s Balm?

✨ What to Expect During Healing

Day 2–4:

Redness, sensitivity, slight puffiness.
Normal.

Day 3–7:

Itchiness + flaking.
DO NOT PICK.

Day 7–14:

Skin starts peeling like a sunburn.
Still normal.

After 2–4 weeks:

Tattoo is healed on the surface.
Deeper layers continue healing underneath.

✨ What NOT To Do

🚫 No scratching
🚫 No soaking
🚫 No pools / oceans / hot tubs
🚫 No tanning or direct sun
🚫 No scented lotions or Vaseline
🚫 No gym equipment touching the tattoo

If it looks shiny, greasy, or slimy — you applied too much balm.
